- Read the citation for the issuing court, agency, citation number, charge, and court date.

A traffic court record is a court case record, not a driving abstract. Court vs Driver Records
The court traffic record and the Louisiana Official Driving Record answer different questions. The court record shows what happened in the traffic case. The OMV record shows driver-history information, including DWI, major and minor traffic violations, suspensions, convictions, and license status. A court disposition may affect the driver record, but the court file is not the same document.

Crash Reports Are Separate
A crash report is not the same as a traffic court record. A crash report documents the crash investigation. A traffic court record tracks a citation or charge filed in court. The Louisiana State Police crash-report FAQ says to allow about 15 or more business days after a crash for reports or photos, and fatal crash reports are not available online.

FTA, DWI, and CDL Issues
Failure to appear can create a bench warrant, capias, extra costs, or license consequences. If a Sabine Parish traffic court date was missed, contact the Clerk or issuing lower court quickly. The district court FAQ says date questions go to the Clerk, and a continuance requires a proper motion and order. A person should also check whether the traffic matter has become a criminal court issue.
DWI and serious traffic offenses often overlap with criminal court records. Traffic court records held by the Clerk are requested like other court records unless sealed, restricted, or outside the Clerk's custody. La.
